“Giant killing” also against Argentina !

The match against Argentina, a big game where the winner will advance to the qualifying pool, is fast approaching,
Argentina is not only physically strong but also their forwards and backbones work together to launch attacks in waves. Set pieces are also stable. When I happened to watch two games in real life at Tokyo Stadium during the World Cup in Japan four years ago, I felt that the maul from the lineout was also strong and Argentina is good at kicking from any angle and distance. In the match against Chile the other day, Argentina was stubborn to preserve their main players.
This team is much stronger than when I watched the match in real life four years ago.
…But so what ?
Argentina is good match for Japan.
There is meaning in faithfully carrying out a winning plan, defeating a strong team and climbing up to the top.
I am willing to believing in the figure that will stand up to any formidable enemy and overcome any difficulty and support Japan for dear life.
It’s my amateur thinks as a model again.
I feel that area management is very important in this match.
Japan shall play on Argentina side as much as possible.
Kick to capture the area and touch kick to deeply penetrate into Argentina territory are also extremely important.
Japan shall let the forwards move forward by kicking the ball for another 10 meters.
However, a strong team, Argentina will attack their own territory hard.
It will be important that Japan stops Argentina with Japan’s “demon tackle line defense,” avoids unnecessary fouls in our own half, doesn’t let Argentina allow PK recklessly and recover our own base quickly.
Also, after there was a change of players in the second half, I think Japan shall get into a double tackle bravely down to wire because Japan isn’t able to get into a double tackle or is too lenient and I feel like there’s a bit of a disruption in discipline.
Scrum Half, Saito was at his best in the game against Samoa, and his quick ball delivery was truly amazing.
He seems to be able to attack for big gains on his own in any possible opportunity with Saito’s sense of play style.
The match against Argentina will definitely be an all-out battle.
However, the Brave Blossoms tried hard enough to win.
I want to see more matches with this team, members and staff !
Let’s all come together in Japan including the fans on the ground and in front of the TV to see the same scenery as we saw four years ago !
When the times are tough, the fans who support Japan will shout out along with us !
“Brotherhood (Brothers in arms) !” “Samurai Time !”
Glory to Brave Blossoms !!
