Cherry blossoms fell in the World Cup match.

First of all, I would like to thank all the players who have registered as members, all the players who worked behind the scenes as the “pillars” who supported the team and all the staff for their hard work.
I would like to pay my respects to the hard work you have made over the past four years and the passion you have sacrificed so much for the Sakura jersey.
As an amateur, I don’t think I should comment on the details of the match at the last moment.
However, I was happy to be able to chase my dreams together with the players.
As a result, we did not make it past the qualifying pool but I think this sums it up in one word as head coach Jamie Joseph said, “I couldn’t ask for anything more. The players gave their all.”
Japan scored three tries in this match against Argentina, which had only scored two tries in three games in the qualifying pool. Although there are some regrets about conceding tries so easily, the Brave Blossoms bravely repeated double tackles against a team with physical like rocks colliding with each other than humans and reduced unnecessary fouls as much as possible. They were truly “brave cherry blossom warriors.”
It’s my amature thinks as a model again.
The first is, as several commentators and others have pointed out, that we are no longer able to participate in Super Rugby as the Sunwolves. After all, when individual players put themselves in the world’s most competitive rugby competitions and work hard, their individual abilities and experience levels can be greatly improved. This is not to say that Japan’s League One is bad and I think League One is attractive because it includes the world’s best players but playing rugby in an even harsher situation including the environment has a positive effect on the players and Japan team. I cannot help thinking that this will benefit Japan team.
I realized that it is very important to create an environment where you can constantly fight and compete with the world. This is something an individual player cannot do anything about. Please help creating such an environment !!
The second thing is to reduce the number of simple mistakes. If Japan would become such a well-honed team, I think Japan will always be able to win the qualifying pool (win the top 8) . It’s because of the opponent’s pressure, so we can’t reduce mistakes to zero but there is still room for Japan to improve and I think there is a lot of room for improvement in their “precise, fast-paced rugby.” Brave Blossoms are gemstones that shine brighter the more polishing them. I’m rooting for Japan.
The third (last) point is that Japan is a team to be reckoned with that can cause giant killings so the world does not take Japan lightly and the opponents have studied Japan quite a bit.
I hope that the Japanese analysis team will be able to win the information war and formulate strategies with using their detailed and delicate analytical skills that surpass those from overseas.
I have heard that the players could not have worked any harder over the past four years both in practice and in the World Cup games. First, I want you to rest and heal your mind and body which have been damaged by pressure, tension, stress and battle.
Thank you also to Jamie Joseph HC for his hard work over the past 7 years. As a fan, I would like to thank him for his efforts to help the Japanese national team to reach even greater heights. Thank you very much again.
The thing that saddens me the most is that I can no longer watch games with this team.
When a new HC would be decided and the players would be called up to represent the national team under the new system, I would like them to remember that Japan were competing with a narrow difference of 1 point behind England and 2 points behind Argentina until midway through the second half of the game and use that to motive themselves to improve.
I would like to continue to enthusiastically support the Japanese national team.
Thank you for the impression ! Thank you very much for your hard work. Let’s chase our dreams together and make the cherry blossoms bloom at the Australian Games in four years’ time !!
“There are consolation matches in life”.
Cherry blossoms are absolutely in full bloom !!
