Eddie Japan comeback

Eddie Jones has returned as head coach of the Japan national rugby team.
I think there are pros and cons.
It is also called a “powerful drug.”
It is also said that forcing the team to work “intensely hard” until 2015 may cause dissonance in the team.
However, if they make minor changes to their training methods and realize their new plan for “super-fast rugby”, they will be able to create rugby that is uniquely Japanese and unlike any other in the world. Just thinking about it makes me excited as a fan.
Until now, “speed” has been the key word for Japan to win against physically overwhelming powerful rugby countries. I’m guessing the “ultra-fast rugby” that Head Coach Eddie idealizes takes this concept even further.
I’m sure the players who will be selected are also looking for a new challenge.
Fortunately, I think the depth of our player base has increased considerably between eight years ago and now.
As there are whispers of a generational change, I would like to support the new “JAPAN WAY” while keeping an eye on what kind of members will be called up to the national team training camp at Eddie Japan.
This is off-topic, but it seems that Eddie has been invited as a guest on NHK for the university championship semi-finals on January 2nd.
The first game, Meiji University vs. Kyoto Sangyo University, will be a match between teams with similar styles and strengths and the second game, Teikyo University vs. Tenri University, will be one of the best physical battles in college rugby. I’m looking forward to it.
We look forward to the success of the “golden egg” that will carry the next generation of Japan national team, the players who fulfill Eddie’s expectations and I wish my alma mater, Meiji University’s victory. However, looking at the game, Meiji University vs. Waseda University and the University Championship game against the University of Tsukuba, there are a lot of concerns such as lineouts, accuracy of kicks and turnovers from points of contact etc.
At first glance, it seems like Meiji University is strong because the difference in points was wide in both games, but they have to beware of their arrogance.
If they continue as they are now, I feel like Kyoto Sangyo University will sweep Meiji University off their feet…
Kyoto Sangyo University is definitely strong.
If Captain Hirose, who has been absent due to injury, is able to return, I hope that he will thoroughly revise and analyze the issues, and spend the past week putting even more “soul” into Meiji Rugby as they prepare for the duel on January 2nd.
I am cheering from the stands at the National Stadium.
