Pre-load adjustment screws are the parts with groove on the opposite side of Rack and pinion handle. With using screwdriver, rotates clockwise (right‐handed) to get the gentle sliding action and levorotation (leftt‐handed) gives you quick and smooth sliding action.
MIRUC’s traditional pre-load adjustment functionality allows fine tuning of the sliding action.What’s “Multi-joint stages”?

Measure Scope
What’s the characteristic and principal use of Measure Scope?
By simply replacing the eyepiece micrometer (scale glass), the equipment can be applied to a range of uses, such as measurement, inspection, alignment and positioning, etc. Measure scope can be arranged by optical system・sliding holder・stands・illumination devices, etc.
Featuring a variety of lens types and eyepiece micrometers, can be used as a non-contact measuring microscope. Images can be photographed and stored using commercially available compact digital cameras.Do you manufacture special order Micrometers?
Yes. MIRUC has already produced over 1,000types of custom ordered micrometers. Micrometers can be custom-produced to the customer’s individual specifications. Please send us drawing or figures. We will do the quotes for that.
What’s the difference between scope unit and Lens barrel optics?
It is the difference in whether the slider moves up and down for swift focus with handle, attached as standard.
The microscope unit is equipped with a slider as standard. Lens barrel optics unit features only the microscope optical system.
Please choose depending on your attachment environment, or stands you own.How much is the total magnification?
At visual observation, total magnification will be 10Ⅹ～200Ⅹ with the combination of Eyepiece lenses and Objective lenses.
Is it possible to measure detailed measurement of a 1μ unit?
Yes. You need a traveling micrometer and Objective lens OB10Ⅹ are necessarily.
It is possible to detailed measurement of a 1-micron unit by combination of MFS series and MF series.

Yes. It is popular to attach the camera systems to Monitoring scope units・Lens barrel optics, and the image observation can be done on LCD monitor. If you have measure scope for visual observation, attach a dedicated C-Mount adaptor and you can easily change the system as an image observation.

Using digital camera adapter, images can be photographed using commercially available compact digital cameras.
Since the pixel count of the latest compact digital camera is also high, it can take a images finely. Moreover, it is applicable as a small LCD monitor scope.
The zoom function of camera is applicable to observation and photography.
Image data can be stored with PC using SD cards.

Do you have long-focus microscope which can be used from the long distance?
Yes, we have WL-1 type which can observe more than 300mm from the long distance position.
WL-1 can be focused to a working distance from 300 mm (17.5×). infinity (8×), and its crosshair scale markings are very useful for positioning.
Combination set WL-1-FR is also very popular.Since the measure scope was used around the machines, it got greasy. Would you overhaul the measure scope?

According to the state and damage condition of the oil immersion of measure scope, expense changes whether replacement parts are required.Why measure scope is the form of the monocular type?
The monocular type microscope like a measure scope can observe a work superficially. For the measurement, inspection, alignment and positioning with use of eyepiece micrometer (scale glass) can be work exactly without the image of overlapping or blurring.
Since the binocular microscope can observe a work in three dimensions, it is suitable for the visual examination, but it is unsuitable for the use incorporating an eyepiece micrometer.

What’s the difference between P type and N/O type?
P type : Suction when pressed, blocked when released.
N/O type : Suction when released, blocked when pressedWhat kind of usage is the short type convenient for?
The short type fits into the palm of the hand and is ideal for operations where the shutter button is operated by the thumb.
Moreover, a person with small hands, such as a female operative, prefers it’s “easy-to-use”.Is it necessarily to have DAP- S Vaccume pump set?
DAP-12S is not necessarily required. Most users provide an air from the piping in a factory.
In addition, you can use any vacuum pump if you can connect the hose attached to the air pit so that there is no air leakage.
DAP-12S set is the product with the equipment attached. If you do not have a vacuum pump or a suction source, we recommend to use DAP- S Vaccume pump set.What kind of effect does air volume control screw have?
For example, suction and release can be made very smooth indeed.
You can change the air flow rate using the airflow adjustment screw according to the object’s weight and size.
When you are handling a verylight and very small object, completely loosen the screw to smoothlyrelease the object. When you handle a heavy object, tighten thescrew to increase the suction force of the air pit.Which attachment is best for glass, precious metals, etc, which should not be scratched during adsorption?
We recommend Teflon standard tip attachments of soft resin material. If the workpiece is larger plane size, a conductive rubber pad type attachment is also recommended.
What kind of attachment is optimal for the usage of adsorption / transport of micro electronic components?
We recommend resin PEEK conductive standard tip attachments which compounded carbon to enhance conductivity.
What is the optimal attachment for the usage of heavy and/or wider workpiece?
We recommend conductive rubber pad attachments or spatula-type attachments.
Can we use Air pit for the suction of the work piece to which water or oil adhered?
When it is not inhalation of a lot of water and oil, it can be used by AP-DLS of “Dust and liquid stocker”
Since it will become a cause of failure if water and oil enter to a vacuum pump or the source of suction, it is effective, if it stores with dust and liquid stocker and throws away moderately.
